WARWICK – Pinnacle Logistics LLC, a Dallas-based logistics company, is looking to recruit 300 workers at T.F. Green Airport, the Business Workforce Center of the R.I. Department of Labor and Training announced Wednesday in a news release. The logistics company is a provider of scheduled surface transportation, supply chain management, and related logistics services within the United States. The DLT described the operation as a new airport cargo terminal. The 300 jobs will include ramp and warehouse workers as well as forklift operators. The company plans on hiring staff by Oct. 5. Employees will be required to be able to lift more than 50 pounds, the release noted. Pay will begin at $14 an hour, but has potential to grow depending on experience, said Michael Healey, chief public affairs officer for the DLT. Healy also said the company has not yet determined whether its terminal will be on site at the airport, or offsite, but noted that workers will be working at the airport regardless. This is Pinnacle’s first operation in Rhode Island. A representative from the R.I. Commerce Corp. confirmed the company is not receiving tax incentives from the state.
